Classic Mini Rear Pocket Covers

This installation guide is a recommended guideline only and it is designed as a guide for fitting Optimise Automotive products.
 

Recommendation

We recommend that you use a general high-temp resistant contact spray or brush adhesive.
 

Preparation

Your parcel should contain:
2 x covers (one for each bin)

Tools needed (recommended):
Clean lint free cloth
Grease removal cleaning agent
Spray or brush adhesive
 

Installation

1. Clean the rear pocket/companion bins using a clean lint free cloth and a grease removal cleaning agent.
    
2. Allow the cleaning agent to dry and/or evaporate naturally.
    
3. Using a contact spray adhesive spray glue onto the back of both bin covers.
    
4. Using the same spray adhesive spray glue onto both of the bins, cover the entire outside surface and the top of the inside surface. Or in other words spray the glue where the covers will be stuck to the bins.
    
5. Wait for the spray glue to go touch dry (tacky) before continuing.
   
   Please Note It is vitally important that you wait for the spray glue to go touch dry before attempting to stick the covers in place. If you do not wait for the glue to be touch dry the covers will not stick correctly.
    
6. Stick the covers to the bins, ensuring that the seam line follows the top edge of the bin.
    

Final checks

Now that your items are fitted test to ensure that they are securely fastened before you drive your vehicle.
