Classic Mini Padded Dash Rail Covers Are Back.

After being removed from the range in 2017, our Classic Mini dash rail covers are finally making a return.

At the time, I decided to drop them because of complaints about fit and finish — but to be clear, the problem wasn’t the quality of the covers. The kit I supply is exactly the same one I use when doing a full dash rail retrim, which always delivers a great finish. The issue is simply that these covers are very tricky to fit, and not everyone has the experience or technique required.

Since dropping the cover kits from the range, I’ve had plenty of requests from people who want the covers themselves rather than going down the retrim service option. To be perfectly honest, sometimes it’s just easier to re-introduce an item than to continually explain why I don’t offer it — so I’ve decided to bring them back!

That said, dash rail covers are still challenging to install. Patience, experience, and the correct fitting method are key — and if it’s your first time, professional installation is strongly recommended.

The covers themselves are high quality and, once fitted correctly, look fantastic. Re-introducing them gives everyone the option to take on a DIY project if they’re confident in their skills — just don’t expect any sympathy from me if it goes wrong!
