What’s Included in the Service:
Strip down of your original rails
Repairs to any minor scuffs or cracks on the original plastic
Fitting of new covers to your original rails
Please note: This is a retrim service, not a cover kit. You’ll need to send me your original dash rails, and I’ll take care of the rest. Once your order is confirmed, I’ll send you an email with all the details you need.
As part of the retrim service, I can also refurbish your original dash rails where possible. This includes cleaning up and painting the exposed metal on the visible underside of the top rail, along with filling minor holes, dents and other small imperfections on the surfaces of both padded rails before they are retrimmed.
Before starting your order, I’ll thoroughly inspect your dash rails for surface rust, damage and any other imperfections. If I find anything that may affect the finished result, I’ll get in touch to discuss the available options before any work begins. If additional repairs or preparation work are required, this may incur an additional cost, which I’ll discuss with you before proceeding.
If your dash rails are in poor condition, I recommend sending me a few photos before placing your order. This allows me to assess their condition, discuss what can realistically be achieved and advise whether they’re likely to be suitable candidates for refurbishment.

This item is trimmed in a premium-grade automotive vinyl leatherette with a heavy grain finish, ideal for Classic Mini interior trim. It’s durable, old-school in appearance and made to last. I’ve also included a few original OEM trim options, so you’ll find some proper factory-style finishes in the mix too (these colours are highlighted with an *).

For reference, the example photos have been trimmed in black vinyl leatherette (Leatherette Colour) with blue stitching (Stitching Colour).

Installation:
This service is for retrimming original padded dash rails.

Specifications:
The dash rails are styled exactly as shown in the photos and trimmed in vinyl leatherette with twin-stitched leading edges. Before trimming, the rails are lined with 3mm foam, which helps to cover any blemishes and imperfections while creating a neat, tailored fit.
