Handcrafted to order in my Staffordshire workshop, each Classic Mini vinyl roof topping kit is made by me to give you a beautifully finished addition that fits well, looks right and is built to last.

The kit is designed to replicate the vinyl roof fitted to the Mini Special in the 1970s, making it ideal for Mini Special restorations or, alternatively, for anyone looking to add a bit of retro-mod spice to their beloved Mini.

What’s Included in the Kit:

  • 1x vinyl roof topping

Trimmings:

This item is trimmed in a premium-grade automotive exterior vinyl topping. It’s durable, old-school in appearance with a heavy grain pattern, and made to last. It’s only available in black, as other colours are unfortunately no longer available in specialist topping vinyl.

Installation:

Designed to be installed on the roof of all Classic Mini Saloons (1959 to 2000).

The topping is supplied ready to fit. Simply glue the vinyl directly to your roof using a brush-on, high-temperature-resistant contact adhesive, layering the adhesive onto both the roof and the topping. Once fitted, trim it around the gutters and finish by installing gutter edging trim.

Specifications:

The topping is styled as shown in the photos, with the gap between the sewn seams set at 75cm.
