The price guides below will give you a clear indication of the costs involved for each and every item of your MK3 onwards Mini interior. For reference, changes to our standard trimming options and/or our standard designs may incur additional costs.

Before we get into the individual information & prices for each & every item of your Mini interior, let’s quickly get the ball rolling with interior package price guides.
The package costs detailed below include the “from” prices for what many consider to be the items that make up a complete interior. This consists of original Mini seats (either seat covers or seat retrims), door cards, a dash trim panel kit, rear pocket trim (rear wheel arch covers & rear pocket liners), a parcel shelf boards and gaiters (gear & handbrake gaiters).

Seats
Let’s start with the most important part of any interior, the seats.
You have countless options to choose from, including sticking with the original seats, installing after-market seats (such as Cobra fixed back bucket seats) or alternatively, installing seats from another classic car.
Options are endless and we can play around with the seat cover designs & trimming options, to ensure that you get the look and feel you crave.
We recommend designing your entire interior around your front seats, as your front seats should be the focal point of your interior. And, as all front seats are different, once the front seats are finalised, we can match your back seats to them.
Original Seats
Original looped leg Classic Mini front seats are all interchangeable, using the same fixing brackets. This allows you to very easily swap your original front seat, to a different style of original front seat. Something that is very handy, especially when retro-fitting a later Mini or looking to modernise an earlier Mini.
The only original front seat that uses different fixing brackets is the early style non-reclining seat with vertical legs and although mainly installed in early MK1’s (pre-1960), inexplicably some early MK3’s (pre 1973) were also fitted with vertical leg style non-recliners. In addition to the front seats, if you have vertical leg non-reclining front seats installed you should also have the matching metal rail rear seat assembly (with two metal rails, one at the top of the squab and one under the front of the cushion), rather then the wire squab frame assembly (fitted in all 1973 onwards Minis).
If you have an early MK3, please make sure to double check the style of front seats (looped leg or vertical leg) and back seat (wire squab frame or metal rail) that you have installed.
For reference, seat retrim services include the removal of your old seat covers, cleaning of the frames, painting of the frame legs in black, steaming the foams and the installation of the new seat covers. If required, we can also completely refurbish your seats, including fitting new membranes and/or foams.

Cobra Seats (Retrims)
Cobra seat swaps are by far the most popular Classic Mini front seat conversion and it’s easy to see why.
The Cobra Classic, Cobra Cub and Cobra Monte-Carlo (from Cobra's incredible Historic seats range) are all designed specifically to be installed in Classic cars. The old school design and retro functionality means that they not only look great, but also fits perfectly within the Classic Mini cockpit.
Alternatively, the Cobra Le Mans (from Cobra's Sports seats range) is the perfect solution for anyone who is looking for a comfier seat solution. Plus, like the fixed back bucket seats, it not only looks incredible (with it’s 90’s fast Ford styling), but also fits within the Classic Mini cockpit.
For reference, the Cobra seats Classic Mini subframe kit is designed to be installed using the same fixing points as the original looped leg front seats. The simplicity of the conversion is why it is such a popular seat swap.
Therefore, it makes perfect sense to have your Cobra bucket seats retrimmed to perfectly match every item of your Classic Mini interior. Prices detailed below are for the retrim of a set of brand new Cobra seats, prices for older models may vary.

Door Cards
Next up, door cards, as along with the seats, the door cards are a visually critical element of your interior. We always recommend perfectly matching the door cards to your seats by using the same trimming options and design cues, to ensure the interior design theme pulls together.
We offer a range of door card designs, all of which are customisable and easily adapted to work alongside a majority of seats and/or project themes. Alternatively, if you fancy something completely different we also design and trim door cards from scratch, so you can be guaranteed that we are able to offer a set of stunning door cards to match your interior.
For reference, all later MK3 onwards (1973 to 2000) rear quarter panels are supplied with the fixing points for MPi rear pocket liners.

Interior Trim
With the main aspects of the interior out the way we can turn our attention to the interior trim. This includes your dash area (the dash rails and dash trim panel kit), the rear pocket area (rear pocket trim) and the parcel shelf.
The interior trim doesn’t need to stand out, it simply needs to compliment your interior. The idea with these items is simple, perfectly match it to your seats and door cards, by using the same trimming options.
Alternatively, the parcel shelf board provides the ideal opportunity to create a nice little feature piece. Our standard options include a Union Jack stitched board, which adds a subtle detail to the otherwise plain panel. Other options could include incorporating aspects of your door card design (by adding matching piping & stitching to the parcel shelf) or to carry on the rear seat squab cover design on to the parcel shelf.
Likewise, if you are installing a dash trim panel kit, it can also be seen as another opportunity to create more of a feature with the introduction of small pockets and/or featured trimming options such as basketweave or cloth (to match your seats and door cards).

The idea with your headlining kit is to compliment the rest of your interior and we recommend going for a complimentary colour, either lighter or darker than your interiors primary colour.

Carpet Kits
The final aspect of the interior is the carpet. An essential part of your Mini and our quality carpet kit will really finish your interior off perfectly and to a high standard.
Designed here at Optimise to be the the ultimate Classic Mini carpet kit, the kit is developed by and unique to us.
Each individual panel is shaped to align perfectly within the Classic Minis contoured floor pan and every panel of the floor is covered - including the under rear seat upright subframe mounting panel and main floor cross member. Our carpet sets are also constructed with a closed cell foam backing, a modern sound reducing/insulation material. This backing replaces traditional underlay and as a result, you will not need to install an underlay kit alongside our carpet sets.
For reference, all of our carpet kits are supplied with gear and handbrake gaiters.

Boot Lining Kits
Home of the Classic Mini boot lining kit since 2005 (in one way or another) and we are still the undisputed kings today. Boot liners is where it all started for Andy and it still gives us immense pleasure to be able to create the best boot liners on the market, for your beloved Minis.
Our range is designed to perfectly compliment the rest of your interior, with both carpet and leatherette trimming options available.
If you regularly use your Mini boot we recommended opting for a carpet option, they look absolutely brilliant and with the durable carpet trimming offer excellent usability. Alternatively, opting for a leatherette trimmed kit creates a stunning show piece and will wow crowds when you parked up at a shows.
As with seats and door cards, our boot liners are customisable and easily adapted to work alongside your project.
